Show and Tell #3 Photo Driven Ad

I thought this was an incredibly photo driven ad first and foremost because it needs no type to convey it's meaning. A black and white (possibly duo tone?) picture of one of the worlds best athletes sweating neon orange and a logo is all this ad needs to attract the readers attention. The picture is cropped to the face which might be thought unusual for a picture of an athlete selling a sports drink, but the dramatic lighting and intensity in Michael Jordans gaze are all thats need to convey the message of the ad, that Gatorade provides strength.
